What is the opposite of Stress?
What does being Stressed mean to You?
We all have different ideas of what it means to be in a state of Stress and therefore, defining how we would want to feel when not stressed, can be complicated.
Even I, being the Stress Expert and all, have been flabbergasted by the diversity of words people use to describe that elusive, so desired state of mind.
So for me, the opposite of Stress is Calm.
What is it for you?
Calm, Relax, Ease, Peace, Patience, Assurance, Certainty….
It should not be a trick question. I promise.
If you struggle to even remember what it feels like to be ‘Non Stressed‘, relax, you are not alone.
However, if you don’t know what it means to experience a life without the pressure of Stress, then, it is time to act.
I am not going to bore you with the thousands of reasons why Stress (especially Chronic Stress) is bad for you…
Just remember, that you can deal with your stress.
It won’t take a large amount of time. It won’t require you to go, leave everything behind and live in a remote cave (Well, you can if you want to but it may not be practical…), simple techniques have emerged in the last few years that are effective and that you can learn.
