“Every Accomplishment starts with a Decision to Try” – J. F. Kennedy

If you don’t try, you will not fail. You will likely feel safe, because you will have not taken any risk.

If you don’t try, you won’t achieve either.

Sebastien Destremau finished his 1st Vendee Globe (a solo sailing race around the world, without stop and zero assistance) last, 50 days after the winner.

Crazy right? Yet, it is considered the Everest of Yacht racing… And every 4 years, 30 yachts are at the start of the race. This year the winner Armel Le Cléach went around the world and back in 74 days.

Sebastien’s goal was to finish… He did! His race lasted 124 days. He was the last one to arrive.

Was he upset to be last? No! He had accomplished his goal: To finish the race, no matter what.

And no matter what, he did!

If he had not made the decision to try, he would never have accomplished his dream.

Remember, you may not succeed when you try. But if you don’t try, you will NEVER accomplish anything.
